The Chrism Mass for 2025 took place on the morning of Wednesday, April 16, during Holy Week. Bishop Marcus and the priests of the diocese assembled in the Cathedral Church of St. Anne in Leeds for this significant occasion.
Bishop Marcus consecrated three sacred oils: the oil of catechumens, the oil of the sick, and holy chrism. These oils will be utilised in administering sacraments across the diocese throughout the year.
